Why did I start this work?
When I was a teenager, I struggled every day with crippling depression, anxiety and PTSD that rocked my core after two cancer diagnoses, major organ failure and a kidney transplant. Even though I had just received a kidney that was going to save my physical body, I was absolutely crushed by the experience. Every day I woke up in a lot of emotional pain because I did not have the tools to help me cope with and recover from what had happened to me. At the time, I knew I had a soul, but I saw myself as my physical body — sick.
It was during this time I called out to the universe and to God and asked for a change. I didn’t want to live the rest of my life in the sad state I was in and I asked for a way. Around this time, I met a wonderful professor who was my first great teacher. She spoke about the Mystery School and I was intrigued. I met a few Adepts and saw that they were so different from me. There was a calmness, a serenity and something about them that made me think that they were able to live in the world in a more peaceful way. I wanted to be like them!!
